27.08.15: I'm sorry but trains don't come cooler than these!! I can't wait for Junior to get one of these!!!

26.08.15: I know I've this blast from the past before, but I sure do miss those pizzas...

24.08.15: one of those Jon Pay moments and running jokes that are funny in my head...but...others may think the joke has run far enough and should just get in a cab, go home and have a lay down...

Day 601: a swamp

24.05.15: "whose swamp is it anyway?!" Day 601 is an ambitious attempt with a 50/50 result. Good Yoda, bad Shrek... Guess that kind of fits... 

     Strangely enough only my third Star Wars reference. The other two are here and here! I have visited Dreamworks before (a long, LONG time ago...), but it's the first Shrek. 

Day 600: a transportation system

23.08.15: it's a transportation system that work for them. I wouldn't recommend it for anybody... I wouldn't recommend it for me?!?!?

     Ladies and gentlemen, we are officially in the homestretch!!! 600 days of sketches?!?!? Who would have thought!?!? I really want to say thank you to everyone who keeps liking and encouraging me. It really helps on the nights I am real too tired to draw. Hope you all stick around for the last 42!!

     I am gonna ask what I have asked five time previously: please tell me your top five of the last hundred. (It doesn't have to be top 5, it could be top 3, or even which one sketch that sticks in your mind). I'd just to hear from you. 

     And just in case you are wondering, here are my top five: 

507, I just think it came out really good. 

512, it's Junior and it just makes me giggle. 

518, I was just trying to pay a little tribute to my better half who never gets enough for...well...anything and everything she does. She is my Saint!!

534, just enjoyed drawing these characters. 

582, same reason as 507.

21.08.15: I know I got high hopes for the kid and have set even higher expectations in previous sketches,he's gots to start somewhere, right?

20.08.15: I can't believe that I didn't know that Jon Pay was a spelunker...  Even more so I can't believe I did not know or have any clue what a spelunker was... (For those who are like me, a spelunker is someone explores caves as a hobby.)

17.08.15: another one were the thought just hit me and I ran with it. Hopefully it is self-explanatory... Not sure it qualifies as a Jon Pay one though...

Day 593: a video game

16.08.15: without realising it I am in the last fifty sketches... Who knew...

     Anyway, I went pixelated again. And I guess retro as well.. So if you know what this is you are either really cool or really old, you decide...

Day 592: maple syrup

15.08.15: two alcohol based one in two days...sorry about that... maybe I'm going alcoholic in my old age...

Day 591: a sippy cup

14.08.15: before you start yelling at me, she requested it. I haven't done many of them but when she this one it was too good to pass up. 

Day 590: an ink pot

13.08.15: every cartoonists worst nightmare!!! Well, proper, traditionalist cartoonists, that is. You Digi-boys probably have no idea what I'm talking about. Imagine you spill your entire coffee-cup or high-octane energy drink all over drawing-tablet or iPad. It would basically be the same thing...almost...

Day 589: a parasol

12.08.15: I believe I will be so bold to say that this is the only parasol that matters, as this parasol means it's five o'clock!!! Or if you wanna agree with Alan, it doesn't matter, it's five o'clock somewhere!!!

Day 588: a bee

11.08.15: what'a'you talking about?!? Of course that's a bee!!??!! It's got stripes and wings!!! And I used reference!!! Of course it's a bee!! 

Day 587: a sand dollar

10.08.15: a sand dollar's a small fortune for a sea horse, you know!?!

Day 586: a can of beans

07.08.15: you may have to be a comic book geek to get this one... At least we've seen one of these capes before...

Day 583: prescription medication

06.08.15: not a true story!!! A medicated wishful dream... But not true...

Day 582: cookies

05.08.15: a no-brainer for me, had to go back to the Muppets. I actually had a deprived childhood as I grew up without Sesame Street!!! Still how can you not love the Cookie Monster!!!

     Plus it warms my heart know you are all gonna be walking around singing the Cookie-Monster song!!

     Dang, now I want a cookie...

Day 581: the Abominable snow man

04.08.15: strongly based on a concept sketch for the Abominable Snow Man from Pixars Monsters Inc by Jon Diesta. I like doing this kind of style/character study. 

Day 580: wise babies

03.08.15: yep, these two will some day take over the world... Provided the other two don't get there first...

Day 579: a box of fried chicken

02.08.15: no hidden meaning, message, joke, punchline or pun even. Just a chicken in a box, feeling fried... 

Day 578: a three-toed sloth
