Day 238: a cuttlefish

26.08.14: I don't know if being a "foul-mouthed Backstabber" qualifies Kodél "Cuttle(-fish)" Sepidama as a criminal, but that fact that he is also a pickpocket probably does. I just couldn't fit that on the description of him.

     Technically only the second of the Cobb City Most Wanted serie (day 166 being the official first), others should have been titled similarly... But wasn't... Magpie featured as early as day 18 (and several times since), The Fox was properly presented on day 128, Bulldog Bob on day 142 and the Hatchet made quite an impression on day 199. I am sure there will be more...

Day 237: a spoon

25.08.14: I think this could be the same guy from day 95, maybe they won't catch him this time... Or it could be somebody helping Magpie with the next stage from day 155. Either way, I am happy with how it came out.

Day 236: a diving board

23.08.14: I really hope I revisit this one someday. I am sure there is a cover or maybe a just a good promo piece in there somewhere. Plus I really like the idea. (And I like puzzles...)

Day 234: a winter hat

 22.08.14: return of the terrible trio sporting their best winter hats. And I am quoting the Boss when she saw snow for the first time ever. I wonder how Junior is gonna react?

Day 233: a shadow

21.08.14: this was another no-brainer for me. If you don't get it, you don't know your comics and should be ashamed. I will say that this cowboy has featured before on day 63 and he has one of the most famous shadows in the west.

Day 232: a slug

20.08.14: well, two slugs actually. Am sure I could have gone Jon Pay with this one, but I thought this idea was kind of cute. I am also finding I am pretty much a one-idea-guy these days; the first idea hits and I work it till it makes sense in my and I just go with it... And besides it's not chocolate-covered kittens!! Think that's my excuse for anything now...

14.08.15: I swear there was a ballon animal here a second ago. It was the most amazing balloon animal I had ever seen, the anatomy was exact, the detail work was beautiful and so delicate. Junior was minding it for me...  

Day 225: a box of tissues

13.08.14: this one is pretty obvious and simple. Every other idea I came up just came out dirty... You think about it...see? SEE?!?! You're doing it too!!!!

12.08.14: I am pretty sure I am stealing this from somebody. Than again, I am equally sure that those somebody I stole it from, stole it from somebody else... 

Day 223: a kite

11.08.14: started this before junior woke up and needed a bottle. Just as I was ready to start again, I read the news about Robin Williams and I really didn't want to finish the sketch. Robin Williams was my all-time favorite (stand-up) comedian. Don't think anyone can ever match his talent. He will be missed.

Day 222: a knife

10.08.14: this ended up being a sketch of an idea but you know I am tired when I can't even make Jon and Gus look good...

Day 221: an inchworm

09.08.14: I am not gonna break Google translate again, but I could not help depicting Ridire Dáithi de Burca and the supply caravans of the dTiarnaí at an Cosantóiri Lú as the marched off to war. Even their supply Orlach-Bolbs (inchworms. I know, I translated it to Inch-caterpillar...) are an impressive sight to behold.

Day 220: a wink

08.08.13: not sure if I could call this one another movie tribute like day 180 (well that's more of a book than a movie...), 178 (kind of...), 105 (...ehm...), 86, 56 (guess I took liberties with that one...), 40 (not sure if that one counts as it French...) and day 36 (or is that tribute to chocolate...?)... okay so maybe none of these could be called a proper movie tribute, so I guess this one fits right in after all. Anyone wanna take a stab at the movie and possibly the actor?

07.08.14: figured the boss (and her new sidekick) had not featured since day 200 so I figured she was due. Like day 123 I hope this is not foreshadowing of things to come...

Day 218: the Northern lights

06.08.14: okay, first off, Jon and Gus are expressing the frustration I found with sticking to the theme tonight. 

     Second, I actually wanted to drawn the Northern lights, I actually saw that as a challenge, but by it self I could not see any story (when I started). 

     And thirdly, drawing a hooker named Aurora Borealis, might not be the best of ideas...

     Thus, Jon and Gus on a scientific assignment for doctor professor von Fricken-Flicken-Blicken auf Brickenstein (day 130, 121 and 50), holding a black and white photo of the Northern Lights. I also love Gus in his winter attire from day 125. I am actually looking forward to drawing the Jon Pay Christmas story by myself and Doc Monster just for that attire (and also because Doc Monsters script is hilarious...)

05.08.14: had no idea what to draw tonight and as the clock was ticking on I started getting desperate. As a result, the above, which makes VERY little sense, but there are two constellations in there, plus if I throw in Jon Pay and Gus MacDugall it makes sense to me...well, most of the time anyway...

03.08.14: inspired by both day 17 and (Doc Monster, cover your eyes) Jon Pay: the Diamond and Clover Mystery (the WIP script that almost made Doc Monster's head explode. 02.08.14: I didn't feel like drawing another underwater scene, since I had already drawn two, day 172 and day 39. Therefor I present to you Nemo's mum Coral! (It's true, that was her name!!)

01.08.14: poor Frankie Cunzo is still not out of the desert since day 72. Question is is it mirage or not this time around...?  (He did also feature on day 17, 20, 111 and 172)
