Day 526: a messenger bag

10.06.15: Tommy "the Kid" Bambino getting in over his head as usual. This time someone is using him as a messenger!! (And hey, are those the brass knuckles from day 10 or 69?!?)

Day 465: freckles

10.04.15: did not mean for this to be a full Cobb City page but Tommy "the Kid" Bambino and freckled grin, the last piece of the puzzle fell in place.

Day 171: a skateboard

20.06.14: okey so according to my limited researched skateboarding was not a thing till the '50s, but this was the only thing I could come up with. The well was dry tonight...

Day 167: the Sunday paper

16.06.14: I am sure I am stealing this one from Bill Watterson or Norman Rockwell, but have having Tommy "the Kid" Bambino (from Jon Pay; Prizefighters & Knockerbockers as well as day 135 and 152) and his friend Cindy Lou from the orphanage (in Jon Pay, a Christmas Story) enjoying the funny pages of the Sunday paper was what I felt like drawing today!!

Day 152: a newsboy cap

01.06.14: I start a new month by continuing something from last month. I  bring back the two characters from day 135; street kid and sometime newsboy Tommy "the Kid" Bambino and once-star-journalist Jack Blayne. It's definitely more interesting than just drawing a newsboy cap.

And for those of you waiting for a news-bulletin, no breaking news as of yet...

Day 135: a dirty rag

15.05.13: the fact that after his fall from grace "ace journalist" Jack Blayne (who appears in both Bullets, Babes & By-Lines and Prizefighters & Knickerbockers)  begged to work for the Cobb City Briefs (being sold here by Tommy "the Kid" Bambino also from P&K), is not important. The fact that scandalous, tabloid, newspapers are often referred as dirty rage is important!!
