Day 97: a ripe banana

07.04.14: a hack job or the insanity continues? You decide! And I'd be pressed for an answer if Banana Bones the bank robber asked me this at banana-point... How 'bout you?

Day 96: swim feet

06.04.14: no, you are not missing the joke... I don't think there's a joke to miss. Had no idea what to draw so I went for the bizarre, so yes, that is a gentleman dressed up for the night with tails and swim fins, and he does need that walking stick as one leg is bigger than the other (by accident...). You get the joke, you explain it to me...

Day 95: a cinder block

05.04.14: okey, there is one major flawed detail in this one, but I am really happy with this one. I like the idea and the execution. And, hey, it is better than my first idea which was to draw a "portrait" of a cinder block...

Day 94: a T-shirt

04.04.14: this one goes out to anybody who dreamed of being superman!! (And yes that is his mum and some paint buckets in the background.)

Day 92: a paw print

02.04.14: I did not set out to have this be a Disney/Pixar page (see below)...

     I think this is by far one of the coolest title logos Disney has ever done. It's from the movie Brother Bear that deserves way more credit than I believe it got. And as previously it was the first thing that popped in my head when I read the theme of the day. Not very original, but it was still an interesting exercise. 

     Here's all the four Disney/Pixar inspired/ripped off pieces as they look in the book, side by side:

Day 91: a helmet

01.04.14: continuing my page of (Disney/)Pixar tribute/inspiration with this piece that showcases goggles and glasses more than the helmet... Anyway, one of the greatest adventurers of our time and I do believe my favorite line from the movie!

     Hope you weren't fooled too badly today...
